Login and password questions
Q: I did not receive an activation e-mail to activate my membership.
Please click here to fill out a simple form to resend the activation e-mail.
Q: I requested a resend of my activation e-mail, but did not receive it.
There are several reasons you might not receive your confirmation e-mail:
- You entered the wrong e-mail address. If you entered the wrong e-mail address, you will need to sign-up again.
- You may have Free-Quilting.com blocked in your e-mail preferences. Checking for this varies depending on which company you use for your e-mail. Here is the way to check it on the most commonly used e-mail service providers:
- AOL - We are currently experiencing difficulties sending mail to AOL.com accounts. Please be patient as AOL assists us in resolving this issue. If you are requesting a resend of your token and do not receive it within a few minutes, please allow 24 hours before attempting another resend. Click "Mail" from the drop-down menu, then select "Mail Controls." Once the "AOL Mail Controls" window opens select "Next" to proceed. Make sure the screen name you want to "Set Mail Controls" for is selected and the "Customize Mail Controls for this Screen Name" button is selected, then click "Next." There are five options on the next screen:
- If the first option, "Allow e-mail from all AOL members, e-mail addresses and domains" is selected then it is possible your e-mail service provider is blocking and/or filtering e-mail from Free-Quilting.com (see below).
- If the second option, "Allow e-mail from all AOL members. Block e-mail from all others" is selected then change your selection to the first option or the second and third options and "Add" Free-Quilting.com in the box to the right.
- If the third option, "Allow e-mail from all AOL members and from the listed domains and e-mail address. Block e-mail from all others" is selected, look to see if Free-Quilting.com is in the list to the right. If Free-Quilting.com is not in the list, "Add" it to the list.
- If the fourth option, "Allow e-mail from the list AOL members, e-mail addresses and domains. Block e-mail from all others" is selected, look to see if Free-Quilting.com is in the list to the right. If Free-Quilting.com is not in the list, "Add" it to the list.
- If the fifth option, "Block e-mail from the listed AOL members, e-mail addresses and domains. Allow e-mail from all others" is selected, look to see if Free-Quilting.com is in the list to the right. If any e-mail address ending with Free-Quilting.com is in the list, click on the e-mail address or domain name to select it and then click remove.
- Click "Next" twice, then click "Save."
- MSN/Hotmail - Once you login to check your e-mail, click on Junk E-Mail and look for an e-mail from Free-Quilting.com. If found, select that e-mail and Hotmail should prompt you to add the sender to Safe List; select "OK."
- Yahoo - Once you login to check your e-mail, click on "Mail Options" in the top right-hand corner. Click on "Block Addresses" underneath the Management section. Check the box under "Remove Block" and see if any e-mail address ending with Free-Quilting.com is in the list. If you see one, click on the e-mail address or domain name to select it and then click "Remove Block."
- Your Internet Service Provider and/or E-mail Service Provider may be blocking and/or filtering e-mail from Free-Quilting.com. If you have checked all of the mail controls indicated above, more than likely this is the problem, please contact the company that you use for e-mail and ask them to stop blocking or filtering your e-mail.

Quilting Information Library Questions
Q: Why can't I see the Quilting Information Library video?
Keep in mind that some of the video files are rather large in size, some over 1 MB, and may take several minutes to load depending on your connection speed.
Also you'll need Apple's QuickTime Player to view the videos. Other players, including Windows Media Player, generally will not work. You can download the player here.
Please visit Apple's QuickTime Troubleshooting page for further assistance.
